Blogging is not one of my strengths. This past year has been an incredible whirlwind of amazing weddings and photography sessions, and while I’ve been so grateful for each opportunity that has come my way, I haven’t taken much time to share. And believe me, the amazing couples and families I’ve had the chance to photograph are definitely worth sharing with you!
Yesterday’s share was about the colours of fall – today’s share is headed in more of a wintery direction – even if the sun is trying to make a comeback this week after a particularly rainy day yesterday. Has it not been so cold lately?! We haven’t received any real snow in Brentwood Bay yet, but the frost has certainly been putting up a fight. Last week as my husband was gathering his equipment and warming up his truck for work, I stepped outside to bring him his morning hot chocolate, only to find a sparkly layer of frost covering the bed of leaves in his trailer. Brrrr! What a great reminder of how quickly the fall season has come and gone: winter is here.
I’m looking forward to December – a month of warm drinks, peaceful, twinkling lights on the tree, and lots of time with family! But until December arrives tomorrow, I’m sharing with you below some of the pre-snowy chill around my house that I experienced last week!
Also, John and I are headed over for a quick trip to Vancouver this afternoon to attend this evening’s Professional BC Wedding Awards. I’m giving my cellphone and email a rest while we’re away to just enjoy the trip together, so thanks in advance for your patience – I’ll be returning all emails and phone calls on Friday!
This is my handsome husband, John. And his big truck! These images make me smile because they remind me of all the times John has tolerated me putting him in front of my camera; what can I say? He’s my favourite subject…even when he gives me goofy smirky smiles!
